Mr. Riley is the husband of Mrs. Lena Smith-Riley; the father of Mr. Willie James Riley, Jr.; the step-father of Mr. Ronald Smith, Mr. Anthony Smith, Mr. Leonard Smith, Mrs. Tracey Bailey (Darrell) and Mr. Alan Smith (Avia); the brother of Ms. Martha Brown; the grandfather of 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Riley was 91 years old.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Willie James Riley, Sr. invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Friday, November 27, 2015 11:00 AM at Mother Emanuel AME Church 110 Calhoun St. Charleston, SC.   Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Riley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Smith-Riley; his son, Mr. Willie James Riley, Jr.; his step children, Mr. Ronald Smith, Mr. Anthony Smith, Mr. Leonard Smith, Mrs. Tracey Bailey (Darrell), and Mr. Alan Smith (Avia); 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, his sister, Ms. Martha Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Riley will be on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 10:00 AM until time of service.  There will not be any viewing on Thursday nor there any viewing after the services on Friday.
