The relatives and friends of Ms. Shirley G. Carter are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Mt. Carmel AME Church 591 Rutledge Ave. Charleston, SC. Interment: Hillcrest Cemetery Summerville, SC.

Ms. Carter is survived by her sister, Ms. Stella Frazier; a special niece, Mrs. Denise W. Major; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Carter will be on TODAY, Friday, June 17, 2011 from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC 4700 Rivers Ave. Charleston, SC. There will be no family hour.
