Entered into eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015; Mrs. Ruby Holmes Russell.  Residence: 5424 Attaway St. N. Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Russell is the widow of Mr. George C. Russell; the mother of Ms. Annette Holmes, Mrs. Joyce Holmes-Middleton (George), Ms. Cynthia Holmes, Mr. Robert Holmes (Carol) and Mr. Eric Russell (Leslie); the daughter of the late Ms. Anna Elizabeth Holmes and Mr. David Washington; the sister of Ms. Margaret “Retta” Wright.  Funeral arrangements are pending.

Mrs. Russell was a 78 year old retiree from Roper Hospital Linen Department.  The family will be receiving friends at 1642 Greenbay Drive North Charleston, SC.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Ruby Holmes Russell. invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Saturday, August 15, 2015 11:00AM at Central R.U.M.E. Church 117 President St. Charleston, SC.  Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.

Mrs. Russell is survived her children, Ms. Annette Holmes, Mrs. Joyce Holmes Middleton (George), Ms. Cynthia Holmes, Mr. Robert Holmes (Carol), and Mr. Eric Russell (Leslie); her sister, Ms. Margaret “Retta” Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Russell will be on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Central R.U.M.E. Charleston, SC.  The family will be receiving friends from 7:00PM-8:00PM.
