The family of Ronald “Rasikananda Das” Eugene Feaster announces his celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at 12:00pm at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel.
Ronald “Rasikananda Das” Eugene Feaster was born on August 18th, 1944 in Harlem, New York from the late Faccelia Dennis Feaster and William Feaster. From this union, two sons were born William “Bill” and Ronald (Rasikananda Das) Eugene Feaster. At two years old and due to the passing of their mother, Rasikananda Das was raised by his father and stepmother, Virginia Singleton Feaster from this union one son was born the late Robert “Sekou Sundiata” Franklin Feaster, who has one daughter Myisha Gomez. Myisha has one son, Ahman Rustin.
Rasikananda Das has three nephews and one niece from his late brother William “Bill” Feaster - the oldest, William Walter Feaster has no children. Keith Omar Feaster, married to Irene Meikle has one daughter, Ayanna Mae and one son Ayinde Derek-Sekou. And the youngest nephew, Glenn Edward Feaster, married to Melvina (Marie) has three daughters, Mariama, Sierra and Amira. Rasikananda Das has one niece, Tisha Smith who has four children, Veronica, Quashawn, Quanisha and Romeo. Rasikananda Das has one great grandnephew from Tisha’s daughter Veronica, named Jay’dience and a great grandniece, Za’yniah. Rasikananda Das is survived by his only first cousin on his mother Faccelia’s side, Audrey Dennis along with several other cousins William Jennings, Anthony Dennis, Edriner, Della and Emani Banks. Rasikananda Das has two loving “bonus-nieces” Devonna and Taylor Graham. A very dear friend Marvin Jones and a very dear friend like a sister, Khadija DeLoache.
He leaves all of us to celebrate his life and cherish his memories especially: his stepmother, aunt, three nephews, two nieces, two nieces-in-law, six grandnieces and four grandnephews, one great-grandnephew and one great-grandniece, two “bonus-nieces”, two friends to the end of time along with a host of cousins.
He will be remembered fondly by his friends of the Hari Krishna Temple located in Brooklyn, New York and the rest of the New York Community.
