Oneita Grimball

Ms. Oneita “Nita” Grimball, the daughter of the late Herbert Walter and Vermell Elizabeth Grimball, was born on July 26, 1963, in Charleston, SC.  She fought the good fight and finished the course on October 09, 2021, at 4:10 pm.

Nita leaves to cherish her memories; her daughters: Mrs. Patrice (Irvin) Middleton, Ms. Ashley Grimball, and Ms. Latrice “Candice” Grimball of Charleston, SC; bonus daughters: Ms. Christine and Ms. Crystal Cain of GA; Goddaughters: Miss. Keziah Broughton and Miss. Kaya Thompson.  Also cherishing her memories are her grandchildren: James Smith III, Kevin L.M. Shine, Eric Shine, Aniya Grimball, and Terell Shine.  She will forever be missed by her siblings: Mrs. Barabra (Phil) Pelzer Martin, Mrs. Annette Rhodes, Ms. Ordean Pelzer; Mrs. Jacqueline (Clifford) Williams, Mr. Antonio Grimball, Mr. Ronald (Nivi) Grimball, Ms. Ann Foy; her sister-in-love: Ms. Deatra Mann; brother-in-love: Mr. “Eugene” (Chawonia) Mack; father-in-love: Denore Lynn; special cousin: Ms. Tarsha Pelzer Wright; Aunt: Ms. Catherine Pelzer; special niece: Ms. Orneshia (Tacoma) Myers and Ms. Sonya Major; sister-in-Christ: Mrs. Carolyn (Benjamin) Broughton and Ms. Regina Keith-Lee; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.

Nita is reunited with her daughter: Ms. Brittany Grimball; her mother and father: Mrs. Vermell and Mr. Herbert Grimball; her mother-in-love: Rosetta Lynn; her sisters: Ms. Brenda Major-Williams and Ms. Eastermae Hall; her brother-in love Mr. Nathaniel Rhoes; and nephew, Mr. John “Quintez” Daniels
