Mrs. Nelson is the beloved wife of Mr. Malcolm Nelson beloved mother of Ms. Kandace S. Tisdale , Mr. Neko A. Tisdale, Ms. Brooke V. Jenkins and Mr. Jarod A. Brown, daughter of Mr. Robert  (Harvey) Tisdale and Mrs. Myrtle Tisdale sister of Ms. Demetria Hartwell and Mr. Robert Tisdale ,Jr.

Mrs Nelson was 59 Years old and retired teacher with  Charleston County School District

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Marlene D. Tisdale-Nelson invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, 1:00 pm at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church 44 Nassau St. Charleston, SC.  Interment: Johnson Cemetery

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband Mr. Malcolm Nelson, children Ms. Kandace S. Tisdale, Mr. Neko A. Tisdale, Mr. Brooke V. Jenkins and Mr. Jarod A. Brown; parents Mr. Robert (Harvey) Tisdale and Mrs. Myrtle Tisdale ;siblings Mr. Robert Tisdale Jr. and Ms. Demetrio Hartwell; special niece Ms. Khiyuana S. Richardson,  special cousins Mr. Julius King ,Ms. Johnanna Coaxum, and Ms. McCheryl McCants.and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Nelson will be on Monday , December 8, 2014 at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC from 3:30 PM-7:00PM.and at the church from 6:00 pm -8:00pm  Family will be receiving friends from 7:00pm -8:00pm
