The relatives and friends of Mrs. Mamie Simmons Legare invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Saturday, September 12, 2015 12:00 Noon at Ebenezer AME Church 44 Nassau Street Charleston, SC.  Interment: Cedar Springs Cemetery (Johns Island).

Mrs. Legare was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Benjamin Legare; her mother, Ms. Elnora White; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. William Pinckney,(Mary), Mrs. Anna Jenkins (Benjamin), Mr. Fred Legare (Idell), Mr. Joseph Legare (Delores), Ms. Mary Joyner, Mrs. Evelena McClanton (Edward), Mrs. Ella McKinley (Irvin), Mr. Lloyd Joyner (Lillie), Mr. Leroy Joyner, Mrs. Beverly Newson (Thales), and Ms. Patricia Joyner.

Mrs. Legare is survived her children, Mrs. Linda LaCour (George), Mrs. Ernestine Green (Freddie), Ms. Benzola Legare, Mr. Benjamin Legare, Jr; her stepchildren, Mr. David Singleton, and Mr. Darryl Green; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Legare will be on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  The family will be receiving friends at 1990 Hawthorne Drive Lott 166 N. Charleston, SC 29406.
