Kenneth "Kenny" Lewis

It is with sadness we announce the transition of Mr. Kenneth Lewis who departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2017. Residence: 18 Elmwood Avenue Charleston, SC. Mr. Lewis is the husband of Mrs. Delaine Lewis; the father of Mr. Shawn Jamaal Lewis; the son of Mrs. Margaret Lewis and the late Mr. Joseph Lewis; the brother of Mr. Bernard Lewis and Mr. Calvin Lewis.

Mr. Lewis was 68 years old and was employed with the City of Charleston Park and Recreations.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Lewis invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Saturday, June 10, 2017 1:00 PM at The Baptist Educational Center 2026 Jacksonville Rd. North Charleston, SC. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Lewis was predeceased by his father, Mr. Joseph Lewis.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delaine Lewis of Richmond, VA; his son Mr. Shawn Jamaal Lewis of Richmond, VA; his siblings, Mr. Bernard J. Lewis and Mr. Calvin Lewis both of NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Lewis will be on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC from 2:00-8:00PM. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00-8:00PM.
