Julia Fields Hamilton Roper, 93, of North Charleston, a retiree, mother of Ethel H. Gilliard, Joseph Roper Jr.,  and Dorothy Roper; Grandmother of Ivone G. Brown, Frank Gilliard III, Jerome Gilliard, Roji Gilliard, Yolanda Gilliard, Paul Gilliard,  Stephanie Gilliard, Demetria G. Williams, Joseph Roper, II, and Brian Roper-Nelson, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 14, 2015

The relatives and friends of Ms. Julia Fields Hamilton Roper invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Saturday, June 20, 2015, 11:00 AM at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel 4700 Rivers Avenue N. Charleston, SC.  Entombment: Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Roper was predeceased by her sons, Mr. Eddie Hamilton Roper and Mr. Leroy Hamilton Roper; and her brother Mr. Sam Fields.

Ms. Roper is survived by her children, Ms. Ethel H. Gilliard, Mr. Joseph Roper, Jr., and Ms. Dorothy Roper; her grandchildren, of Ivone G. Brown, Frank Gilliard III, Jerome Gilliard, Roji Gilliard, Yolanda Gilliard, Paul Gilliard, Stephanie Gilliard, Demetria G. Williams, Joseph Roper, II, and Brian Roper-Nelson; her sister, Ms. Eartha Lee Fields; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Roper will be on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  There will be no family hour.
