Mrs. Busby is the wife of Mr. Elijah Busby; the mother of Ms. Keisha Renee Speed-Pinckney, Mrs. Angela Busby-Stanley (Gerald), Ms. Betty Busby, Mr. Elijah Busby, Jr. (Jannie), Mr. Ronald Busby (Barbara), and the late Mr. Timothy Busby; the daughter of the late Mr. Christopher Speed and Mrs. Clara Green-Speed; the sister of the Mr. Julius Speed (Margaret), Ms. Ethel Pettis, Ms. Clara Erving, and Ms. Miriam Taylor.

Mrs. Busby was 65 years old and a retired Charleston County Employee.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Julia Busby invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Friday, October 3, 2014, 2:00 PM at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 713 Old State Road Goose Creek, SC.  Interment: Private 

Mrs. Busby is survived by her husband, Mr. Elijah Busby; her children, Ms. Keisha Renee Speed-Pinckney, Mrs. Angela Busby-Stanley (Gerald), Ms. Betty Busby, Mr. Elijah Busby, Jr. (Jannie), and Mr. Ronald Busby (Barbara); her siblings, Mr. Julius Speed (Margaret), Ms. Ethel Pettis, Ms. Clara Erving, and Ms. Miriam Taylor; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Busby will be on Thursday, October 2, 2014 3:30-6:00PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  There will not be a family hour.
