Mr. Hancock was preceded in death by his father, Mr. John Elliot Bookard.

Mr. Hancock is survived by his son, Master Kaleb Joshua Hancock; his mother, Ms. Jewaldine Hancock; his siblings, Mrs. Barbara Williams (Lester), Mrs. Terri Dantzler (Tyrone), Mr. Kenneth Hancock (Bonita), and Mr. Darryl Hancock; his sister-in-law, Ms. Vernee Hancock; his special friend, Ms. Lakesha Johnson-Hancock; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Hancock will be on TODAY, Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC 4700 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC. There will not be a family hour.
