Mr. Dewees is the father of Mr. Jerome Dewees, Jr. (Damika); the grandfather of 8 grandchildren; the companion of Ms. Celeste Miller; the son of the late Mr. Tolbert Dewees, Sr. and Mrs. Maggie P. Dewees; the brother of Mr. Tolbert Dewees, Mrs. Adell Blake (Bobby), Mr. Nathaniel Dewees (Louella), Mr. Joseph Dewees (Angela) and the late Ms. Cynthia Dewees; the devoted friend of Ms. Virnia Addison-Dewees

Mr. Dewees was 57 years old.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Jerome “Stanley” Dewees, Sr. invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Thursday, March 5, 2015, 11:00 AM at New Ashley Baptist 110 New Ashley Blvd. Summerville, SC.  Interment: Pine Hill Cemetery

Mr. Dewees is survived by his son, Mr. Jerome Dewees, Jr. (Damika); his companion, Ms. Celeste Miller; his siblings, Mr. Tolbert Dewees, Mrs. Adelle Blake (Bobby), Mr. Nathaniel Dewees (Louella), and Mr. Joseph Dewees(Angela); 8 grandchildren; a devoted friend Ms. Virnia Addison-Dewees; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Dewees will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 3:30PM-7:00PM at New Ashley Baptist Church.  There will not be a family hour.
