Isaac Blake

Isaac Alphonso Blake, 67, of New York, NY, passed away on July 22, 2021, in Ladson, SC.

The viewing will be 5 pm – 7pm Friday, July 30, 2021 at Dickerson Mortuary.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday July 31, 2021 at Dickerson Mortuary with the Reverend Dr. Robert E. Kennedy of St. Peter’s AME Church, officiating. Burial will take place 12:00Noon Monday August 2, 2021 at Beaufort National Cemetery. 

Isaac was born New York, New York, to Freddie E. Blake and Julia F. Blake on August 2, 1953. He married Stephanie Blake in Key West, Florida. He was a Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corp.  

Isaac is preceded in death by his father, Freddie E. Blake Sr., brothers Arthur Blake, Freddie E. Blake Jr. and sisters Elaine B. Mims, Gwenda F. Baylor, and Yvonne Blake.  
Isaac is survived by his wife: Stephanie W. Blake of Ladson, South Carolina, his children: Onyé B. Laws, Travis Laws, and Stephano Blake, grandchildren: A’Ja Laws, Arion Laws, and Raegan Blake, mother: Julia F. Blake, siblings: Charles A. Blake, Vincent R. Blake, Louis R. Blake, Harold D. Blake, Margaret B. Brown, Gail M. Blake, Felicia B. Cummings, Arnold Cummings Sr, Emmajean J. Blake, Cathy B. Richards.
