The family of Mrs. Helen Elaine Garris invite you to attend her celebration of life services Saturday, July 20, 2024, 11:00 AM at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 153 Alexander Street, Charleston, SC 29403. Interment: Pine Hill Cemetery, Summerville, SC. 

Mrs. Garris was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Washington, her daughter, Tearia Washington and her sisters, Wanda Washington and Felecia Rouse.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Garris. Her children, Teaco Washington, Anthony Washington, Jr., Geraldo Washington and Darrellca Washington. Her siblings, Annette Crosland, James Washington, Jr., Cleonia Royal (Darrell), Corey Washington, Sr. Tony Snipe, Anthony Snipe, James Snipe, Deborah Myers, and Nekalech.

Viewing for Mrs. Garris will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
