Entered into eternal rest on Sunday April 26, 2015; Ms. Evelyn Singleton.  Residence: North Charleston SC (Formerly of   Grant Hill Section of North Charleston, SC).

Ms. Singleton is the mother of Mr. L.J .Gordon,  Ms. Mary F. Gordon , Mr. Johnny L. Singleton (Ida), Ms. Hattie Williamson, Mrs. Betty Porter (Sam), Mr. Charles Singleton (Sara Coaxum), Mrs. Maxine O’Neil (Herbert), Mr. David Singleton ,Mrs. Dianne Harley (William), the late  Mr. Alexander Singleton and Mr. Ricky Singleton; sister of Ms. Mary Smith and Ms. Dila King; daughter-in-law Mrs. Gerry Singleton

Ms. Singleton was 97 years old. 

The family will be receiving friends at 2130 and 2135 Adair Street (Accabbe section ) North  Charleston, SC.

The relatives and friends of Ms. Evelyn Singleton invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 11:00 AM  at St. Matthews Baptist Church 2005 Reynolds Ave. North Charleston, SC.  Interment: Monrovia Cemetery

Ms. Singleton is survived by her children, Mr. L.J. Gordon, Ms. Mary F. Gordon, Mr. Johnny L. Singleton (Ida), Ms. Hattie Williamson, Mrs. Betty Porter (Sam), Mr. Charles Singleton (Sara Coaxum), Mrs. Maxine O’Neil (Herbert), Mr. David Singleton, and Mrs. Dianne Harley (Williams); her daughter-in-law, Ms. Gerry Singleton; her siblings, Ms. Mary Smith and Ms. Dila King and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Singleton will be on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 4:00PM –7:00PM at Greater Joiner Temple 23 Sycamore Ave Charleston, SC.  There will not be a family hour.
