Elijah Lawton

The relatives and friends of Mr. Elijah “Chick-A-Boo” Lawton ,Jr  invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Friday , April 7, 2017 11:00AM at James Island United Congregational Church 1890 Central Park Road Charleston  SC 29412 Rev. Hercules Champaign  Officiating. 

Mr. Lawton was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Elijah Lawton Sr. and Mrs. Nora Watson and his son, Mr. Elijah Austin.  He is survived by his children, Mrs. Elnora Campbell (Benjamin), Mr. Joe Scott, and Ms. Odessa Scott; his step daughters, Ms. Gail Scott and Mr. Geogie Pinckney; his siblings, Mrs. Fracena Lawton (John), Mrs. Mary Alice Scott (Ronald), Mrs. Theresa Tyler (Robert) and Mrs. Anetha Champaign (Edward), Mr. James Watson, Mr. Elijah Prioleau, and Mr. Johnny Prioleau (Shirley), grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Lawton will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC from 3:00-6:00PM; Also on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10:00AM- until the time of service at James Island United Congregational Church.  There will not be a family hour.
