It is with sadness we announce the transition of Mr. Derrick Darell Barber who departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Residence: 3569 Admiral Drive North Charleston, SC.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Derrick Darell Barber invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s AME Church 4650 Sanders Avenue North Charleston, SC . Interment: Monrovia Cemetery.

Mr. Barber is survived by his fiancée, Ms. Lashay Smith; his children, Derrick Barber, Jr. and Daia Damone Barber; his parents, Ms. Patricia Clark and Mr. Kenneth Legare (Charlesetta); his siblings, Porchia Sanders, DeAngelo Clark, Tre’Shana Meyers, Jene’ Bryan (Ricardo), Ashley Legare, Amber Legare, and Angel Legare; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Barber will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC from 4:00-7:00PM.  There will not be a family hour.
