Dickerson Mortuary announces the passing of Mrs. Caren A. McCoy of North Charleston SC who transitioned on Saturday December 30, 2023.

The family of Mrs. Caren Andria McCoy invite you to her celebration of life services on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, 11:00 AM at Greater Trinity AME Church, 677 Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina. Interment: St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Spruill Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina.

Mrs. McCoy was preceded in death by her father, Carvin Johnson, Sr., and her brother, Sherman R. Edney. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her husband, Mr. John H. McCoy. Her children, John H. McCoy, Jr., Amanda L. McCoy, Matthew C. McCoy and Felicia E. McCoy.  Her mother, Frances Judge; her siblings, Alphonzo Edney, James L. Judge, Terrance Judge, and Yolanda D. Gee.

Viewing for Mrs. McCoy will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel, 4700 Rivers Ave. N. Charleston, SC 29405. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 10:00AM - until the time of service at Greater Trinity AME Church.
