Dickerson Mortuary announces the passing of Ms. Andrea Governor, 75, who transitioned on Thursday, April 10, 2025. The family of Ms. Andrea Governor invite you to attend her celebration of life services on Friday, April 25, 2025 11:00AM at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel 4700 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC. Interment: Pine Hill Cemetery.

M. Governor was preceded in death by her parents; Det. George Gathers, Lucille Gathers, and her brother; Richard Gathers. Ms. Governor is survived by her children; Damath Sandford (Katrina), and Dionne Sandford, her siblings; Eulalia Chandey, and Annette Parrish (Ronald), her grandchildren; Damath Sandford, Jr. (Treasia), Chiquana Sandford, Julian Beasley III(Latoya), great-grandchildren; Madison Sandford, Hunter Sandford, Karson Middleton, Jade Beasley, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Governor will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel
